November 21-25, 2012:  Bama -v-Auburn - Iron Bowl Week and Thanksgiving Week!

Tim, Tanya, Dottee, Mollee, and Spence

It is Wednesday, Thanksgiving Eve and we are on the way to Ttown!

Thanksgiving week in Ttown!  We need a different Thanksgiving so we are going to celebrate in Ttown.

Tim is sick!   We get to leave around 4:15.  Heavy traffic but no problems getting to Ttown.

Tim moves the RV to the lot.  Tanya stops at WD for last minute supplies and then picks up Ivan and Pattie to help set up the RV.  We get the car unloaded and stuff in place and we go to 5 Guys Burger and Fries for dinner. Next door is the a Yogurt place.  Perfect for dessert.

We take Ivan and Pattie back to Nephie's apt and we visit with Nephie and Julie for a few minutes.  Then back to the RV lot.  Tim needs to rest.

Not a lot of people in the lot but grateful we can part here this early.  Thanks Bama Gameday.

Thursday AM:   Thanksgiving!   I make breakfast and then make deviled eggs,  grandma style.

Then I take the pups on a Thanksgiving day walk to the stadium.  We watched the Macy's day parade and then to Nephie's for Thanksgivings dinner.

Buddy and Brittney joins us for dinner.

Tim takes a nap after dinner.  He's still sick.   We have a great day.  We help decorate Nephie's Christmas tree while watching Christmas vacation.  Then we watched Home Alone.   It was a great day.

Friday AM:  Tim sneaks out so quietly that I do not know he has left.  Once again, he is on "heart call" and must go to Anniston.  He will be back on Saturday.

I take the dogs for a walks around the stadium.  It is a beautiful day.  Then Ivan, Pattie and Jonathan pick me up and I join them for a little shopping.   Then to Baumhowers for lunch with Leah and James.

Back to the RV.   Jay and Tonya have arrived.  The RV lot is filling up.  We watch the Arky -LSU game.

We have reservations at Nephie Restaurant, Evangeline's, at 6:30.  Ivan and Pattie pick me up.  We give Jay and Tonya a ride to Newks, pick up James and Leah and proceed to the restaurant.   It was a great meal.   We had a great time together.  We missed Tim.

After dinner, a trip to Publix for the meat for Saturday's tailgate.  Ryan is going to smoke the meat for Saturday's tailgate.  There are 5 of us in a Honda Accord.  The trunk is full from the previous shopping trip.  We get supplies, including 3 gallons of water, 20lbs of ice, buns, 2 chickens, country style ribs, TP, paper towel's for Nephies, etc.  WE place what we can in the truck and the rest everyone gets to hold in their lap.  The ice went in the floor board under my feet.  James help the paper towels.   We unload at the RV.

Ivan, Pattie, James, and Leah return to Nephies.  The pups and I stay at the RV.

Anne P came by to pick up the meat.  She and Ryan are staying at Nicolette's and are smoking the meat all night.
