Kent State September 3, 2011

 September 2-4, 2011  Bama v Kent State
Tim, Tanya, Dottee, and Mollee.  2011 Football Season is finally here.
This is our first season in our 8 years of RVing that Jonathan is not joing us on Friady for the ride to T Town.  He is in school in Ttown so he is already there.

The trip down went very smooth.  Nephie met us at the storage lot and we picked up Allie. No problems getting into Lot 8 spot 171.  Nephie couldn't park in the lot so he went back to his appartment.
We unloaded the car, picked up Nephie at his appartment and we were offf to Newks for dinner.  We brought food with us so a Publixs or Brunos run was not needed.  Back at teh lot, Jay and Tonya were there.  We have them their wedding gift.  It is nice to see our tailgate friends again.

We got most everything set up. Steve, Amy and Izzy brought us some ice. Nephie took the Caddy back to his his apartment and met James and Leah. The game is at 11 AM so everyone will arrive around 8 am.

James, Leah, Amy, Steve, Izzy, Ivan and Pattie are staying at Nephie's apartment.  Nephie will run a shuttle service to the RV Lot.  Parking on campus is $20-$30.   Behind the RV Lot, they have opened a lot for $10.  Finally something that make sense.

Saturday morning, Nephie Shuttle service began and he brought us chicken biscuits.  Some traditions can't be broken.
Ellen, Nan, Anne, Anne's friends, Mackenzie and Derek Sutton, Janis, Randy, Hunter, Hunter's friend, Mitchell, Nicolette and her friend, Kelly, all dropped off supplies before the game.

It's game time!

Tanya has a new bicycle for Ttown.  It was a birthday present.  It's a beauty.
Nephie's friend, Julie, who is also a friend of Kitty Morgan, had 2 tickets so Pattie also gets to go to the game.

Tim and Tanya ride bikes to the game.  BAMA WINS!
Allie is 48-9.

Back at the RV, the SAT dish took a tumble and part of it is broken but Tim was able to get it to work.
We can't find the hotdog roller but Tim grills the dogs and Tanya makes them into Timz Dogz.  Steve works on teh warmer so the heating pad is put into work to keep the Dogz warm.

Tim warmed the Boston Butt in a pan on the grill and warmed the chicken fingers on the grill.

Ivan, Pattie, Jonathan, Julie, Leah, James, Steve, Amy, Izzy, Nan, Ellen, Mackenzie, Derek, Taylor, Janis, Randy, Briana, Hunter, Mitchell,  friends of Janis, Lane Snead, Kim, Jim, and Taylor Smith and Amy's friend, and former Bama standout, Eyrk Anders joined Tim and Tanya for a grand total of 27 people at the tailgate at one point.

It was a great day.  People left early sicne the game was over by 2:30.  Steve, Amy, Izzy, Jonathan, Tim, Tanya, Jay and Tonya watched the Oregon-LSU and GA - Boise State games.  The night was beautiful and very comfortable.  The day was hot but not was hot as some Sept. games.  Everyone helped put away charis and the rugs during the half time.
Sunday morning was very laid back and restful.  Nephie brought Tim a biscuit and brought papers.  Tanya was walking the dogs and Breezey and Trey walked out of their RV.  It was great to see them.

We continued to clean, pack, and get ready to leave.  Tim and Jonathan made a trip to Home Depot for a tarp to cover the bicycles.  While they were gone, it RAINED!  After they returned, we got everything dried off and inside the RV, trash can, ice chests, etc and proceeded to the dump station and storage lot.

Nephie connected the water hose and turned on the water and the hose disconnected and water went everywhere!
After dropping off the RV, we decided to go for lunch at Wings U.  Tanya took the pups to Nephies.  Wings U was very good.  The ride home was uneventful.  It was a great weekend.

We got most everything set up.  Steve, Amy and Izzy brought us some ice. Nephie took the Caddy back to his apartment and met James and Leah.   The game is at 11 AM so everyone will arrive around 8 am.
